Joe Donigan, born July 4, 1989 in Trenton, NJ. Joe recently decided to switch careers and jump into personal training after 8+ years in the food and beverage industry where he was a General Manager of a local restaurant and catering company. Joe recently spent several weeks shadowing and learning hands-on with Pete Kowalewski while finishing his Certified Personal Training course with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In early September he earned his certification with NASM and has joined the team at Fuse full time. He is currently teaching HIIT and MST classes weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, as well as building his personal training and team training clientele. Joe currently resides in Hamilton, New Jersey with his wife Amanda.
Joe was born into an athletic family. His father and mother both competed in multiple sports in high school and college. Growing up he was heavily involved in soccer, basketball, baseball and ended up playing collegiate soccer at the Division 1 level at the University of Rhode Island and ended his playing career at Division 3 NJAC school Rutgers-Camden. He is still involved in the local soccer community, where he assists with the Notre Dame High School Boys Soccer program and helps train at the Bob Smith Soccer Academy located in Robbinsville.
Joe wishes to continue his education in his new field by obtaining multiple certifications and growing his knowledge by any means possible. Joe is a firm believer in “Movement is Medicine.” Things in motion, stay in motion. Whether you are a young athlete training for sport or hobbies, a middle-aged man/woman seeking weight loss, or an elderly individual dealing with pain or discomfort and looking to be more functional in their day to day, Joe will not turn down the opportunity to help his clients meet their goals.
